Anatomy of a Professional Bowl

We prioritize material purity and functional design features.

Food-Grade 304 Stainless Steel

Cheap bowls use 201 steel, which rusts. We insist on 304 (18/8) Grade Stainless Steel. It contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, forming a passive layer that prevents corrosion, even when holding water 24/7.

  • Rust Proof: Guaranteed not to rust under normal use.
  • Heavy Gauge: Thicker walls resist denting.

Permanent Laser Engraving

Ink printing on metal scratches off easily. We use Fiber Laser Marking to permanently etch your logo onto the bowl. The result is a sophisticated, dark grey mark that contrasts beautifully with the polished steel.

  • Longevity: Withstands thousands of dishwasher cycles.
  • Precision: Capable of rendering QR codes and fine text.

Functional & Stable Design

No more clanging. Our bowls feature a Full Bonded Rubber Base (not just a removable ring) that covers the entire bottom rim. This prevents sliding, protects floors, and eliminates noise during eating.

  • Tip-Resistant: Wide base geometry adds stability.
  • Noise Reduction: Silent dining experience.

Stainless Bowl Sourcing FAQ

Technical answers for importers and brand managers.

Why is 304 steel better than 201 steel?+

304 Steel has higher nickel content, making it non-magnetic and highly resistant to rust. 201 Steel is cheaper but contains manganese, which makes it prone to rusting when exposed to water over time.

Is the rubber base dishwasher safe?+

Yes, the bonded rubber ring is designed to withstand dishwasher cycles. However, over many years of high-heat drying, rubber can eventually become brittle. Hand washing the base extends its life.

Can you powder coat custom Pantone colors?+

Yes. For orders of 500+ units, we can powder coat the exterior of the bowl in any Pantone color. We leave the interior as raw polished steel for food safety.

What is the MOQ for laser engraving?+

For our stock stainless steel bowls, the MOQ for laser engraving is just 100 units. This is perfect for testing new designs or limited runs.

Do you offer double-wall insulated bowls?+

Yes. We offer premium double-wall bowls that keep water cool for hours. These are heavier and have a very high-end feel, popular with luxury pet brands.

Can you make "Slow Feeder" steel bowls?+

Yes, we have molds for stainless steel slow feeders with a raised center bump to prevent rapid eating. These require a slightly higher MOQ (500 units) due to the complex pressing process.

Are the edges sharp?+

No. All our bowls feature a rolled rim or a polished flat rim to ensure there are absolutely no sharp edges that could cut a pet's tongue.

Is laser engraving colorful?+

No. Laser engraving removes the surface layer/oxide, resulting in a dark grey or black mark (annealing) on the silver steel. It is monochromatic but extremely elegant.

Do you offer "Ant-Proof" bowls?+

Yes, we can source "moat" style bowls with a raised center and a water channel around the edge that prevents ants from reaching the food. Great for outdoor use.

How are they packaged for retail?+

Stainless bowls stack well. For retail, we usually place a branded Cardboard Insert or sticker inside the bowl, or use a belly band. Full boxes are available for premium sets.

Can I mix sizes in one order?+

Yes! You can split your 100 unit MOQ across different sizes (e.g., 30 Small, 40 Medium, 30 Large) to create a complete inventory offering.

Is it microwave safe?+

Absolutely NOT. Metal should never be put in a microwave. Please include this warning on your packaging if selling to consumers.
