Direct answers to the most common questions about sourcing premium canvas bags.
We are a strategic sourcing partner. A single canvas factory is limited by its machines. We manage a network of specialized, audited factories. This allows us to match your project—whether it needs custom dyeing, complex embroidery, or GOTS certification—to the perfect facility, while we manage QC and logistics.
We welcome audits. We will provide the valid BSCI, Sedex, or GOTS certificate for the specific partner facility we've matched to your project. We will then manage all logistics for your 3rd-party auditor (like SGS) to conduct an on-site visit and oversee any Corrective Action Plan (CAP) required.
This depends on your goal. We'd recommend:
- 10oz: A great entry-point. Durable but still lightweight.
- 12oz: The "gold standard." Provides the perfect balance of premium heavy feel, durability, and value.
- 16oz+: Used for high-end retail, tool bags, or large travel bags where maximum structure is critical.
Our standard MOQ for fully custom canvas bags typically starts at 500 pieces. This allows our partner facilities to efficiently manage custom dyeing, printing, and setup. This is significantly lower than many direct factories that require 3,000-5,000 pieces.
Price scales significantly. The setup costs (fabric dyeing, print screens) are the same for 500 bags or 5,000. The per-unit price for 2,000 pieces will be substantially lower than for 500. We will always provide clear price breaks.
Yes, absolutely. For orders meeting the custom-dyeing MOQ (typically 1,000+ pieces), we can dye the raw canvas fabric to precisely match your brand's specific Pantone (PMS) color codes, ensuring perfect brand consistency.
We can source both:
- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): Guarantees the canvas is made from organically grown cotton. This is an "eco-friendly" message.
- GRS (Global Recycled Standard): Guarantees the canvas is made from a high percentage of recycled materials (e.g., recycled cotton). This is a "circular economy" message.
We provide full-service logistics. We can provide standard FOB (Free On Board) pricing. However, most of our partners prefer our DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) solution, where we manage all freight, customs, duties, and last-mile delivery directly to your warehouse.
Screen Printing is best for large, bold logos (1-4 colors) and is very cost-effective. Embroidery provides a premium, textured, and highly durable finish that adds perceived value, making it ideal for high-end retail or corporate gifts.
Yes. For complex, multi-color, or photographic designs on canvas, we use DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing or Heat Transfer. This allows for unlimited colors and high detail, which screen printing cannot achieve.
Yes. Canvas is a natural fabric, so slight color variations between dye lots are normal. Our on-site QC team checks all incoming fabric against your approved sample to ensure consistency and prevent variations in your final order.
A standard 12oz canvas tote with reinforced "X" stitching on the handles can comfortably and reliably carry 10-12 kg (22-26 lbs). We also manage stress-testing for projects with specific technical requirements.
