The "Crinkle" Aesthetic

We use genuine DuPont™ Tyvek®. Over time, the material develops a unique network of wrinkles—similar to the patina on leather—giving it a distinct, vintage character that users love.

  • Soft vs. Hard: We offer "Hard Structure" (paper-like stiffness) and "Soft Structure" (fabric-like drape).
  • Printability: The smooth white surface is perfect for vibrant screen printing or full-color digital transfer.

The Insulated "Brown Paper" Bag

Our best-selling corporate gift. It looks exactly like a disposable brown kraft paper bag, but it's durable Tyvek with an aluminum foil thermal lining inside.

  • Functional: Keeps food hot or cold for hours.
  • Magnetic/Velcro Closure: Roll-top design usually secures with a hidden magnet or velcro.

Trend Alert: Tech startups are loving this look. Read our report on the "Kraft Paper Look" →

Why Source Tyvek® with Ruixing?

Tyvek behaves differently than fabric. It requires specialized manufacturing.

Precision Sewing

Tyvek doesn't "heal." Once a needle punctures it, the hole remains. Our skilled sewers use specific stitch lengths and tensions to ensure seams don't perforate and tear under load.

Ink Adhesion Testing

Standard inks can scratch off Tyvek's smooth surface. We use formulated bonding agents to ensure your logo withstands friction and water exposure.

Authentic Material

We source directly from DuPont™ authorized distributors. We guarantee 100% genuine Tyvek, not cheap plastic imitations that crack easily.

Tyvek® Bag Sourcing FAQ

Answers to the most common technical and commercial questions.

1. Is Tyvek actually paper?+

No. Although it has a crinkled paper-like texture, Tyvek is a non-woven material made from flash-spun high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fibers. This makes it waterproof, untearable, and durable.

2. What is the difference between "Hard" and "Soft" structure?+

Hard Structure (e.g., 1056D/1070D) feels like stiff kraft paper. It holds its shape well and is perfect for lunch bags or structured totes. Soft Structure (e.g., 1443R) feels more like fabric or a soft windbreaker material, draping easily for clothing or drawstring bags.

3. Is it really waterproof?+

The material itself is 100% waterproof. However, standard stitched bags have needle holes at the seams which can allow water in during submersion. For splash resistance or rain, it performs perfectly.

4. Does the printing fade or crack?+

Tyvek's surface moves and crinkles. We use specialized flexible inks for screen printing that bond with the fibers. While the "vintage" look includes creases through the print, the ink will not flake off.

5. Can you dye Tyvek to custom colors?+

Tyvek comes naturally in White. For other colors (like Kraft Brown, Black, or Navy), we print a full-bleed background color or use pre-dyed stock. For exact Pantone matching, the MOQ is typically 3,000+ pieces.

6. Can I wash Tyvek bags?+

Yes, gently. Hand wash with mild soap and air dry. Never iron or put it in a hot dryer, as Tyvek will melt at high temperatures (approx 135°C).

7. How much weight can a Tyvek bag hold?+

Despite being paper-thin, Tyvek is incredibly strong. A standard shopping tote can easily carry 15kg to 20kg. The limit is usually the handle stitching, which is why we reinforce all stress points.

8. What is the MOQ?+

Our standard MOQ for custom printed Tyvek bags is 1,000 pieces. This ensures the unit cost remains competitive, as setup costs for Tyvek production are higher than standard cotton bags.

9. Is it cheaper to ship than canvas?+

Yes, significantly. Tyvek is ultra-lightweight and folds very flat. You can fit 2-3 times more Tyvek bags in a carton compared to heavy canvas, saving you 30-50% on international air freight costs.

10. Is Tyvek eco-friendly?+

Yes. It is made of 100% HDPE and is 100% recyclable (Recycling Code #2). It contains no binders or fillers. Its durability allows for hundreds of reuses, replacing thousands of single-use plastic bags.

11. Do you use real DuPont™ Tyvek?+

Absolutely. We source directly from authorized DuPont™ distributors. Cheap imitations ("fake Tyvek") tear easily and feel plastic-like. We guarantee the authentic "breathing" and fibrous texture of real Tyvek.

12. Can you make insulated Tyvek lunch bags?+

Yes, this is one of our best-sellers. We line the Tyvek with aluminum foil foam (EPE) to create a thermal barrier. It looks like a brown paper lunch sack but keeps food cold/hot for 4-6 hours.
